                gae Tod., Nuov. Gen. Sp.: 12 (1858) pro sp.; O. ×sorrentini Tineo ex Lojac. pro sp.]
                Ibrido O. bertolonii × tenthredinifera. –This nothospecies was already reported (Lojacono 1909:
                41). For sites see (Bartolo & Pulvirenti 1997).

                Garigue and dry meadows on the coast. – Its report for Palermo is not generally accepted [vedi
                Golz P. & Reinhard H. R. in Ber. Schweiz. Bot. Ges., 89 (1-2): 63-79, 1979], taxon is endemic
                in the Gargano area (see Grünanger 2001, Delforge 2005). Waiting to be confirmed, the  O.
                bertoloniformis is, for the moment, excluded from the Sicilian flora.

                Sommier (in Lojacono 1909: 48, sub O. scolopax), confirmed by Fiori (1923, 1(2): 313) sub O.
                arachnites var.  scolopax  and by Del Prete &  Tosi (1988: 25); Pantelleria: Gelkhamar, Sesi,
                Bagno dell’Aquila, Cuddie Rosse (Sommier 1922). – RR.
